This wall plaque pays tribute to our proud Americans who have served in the United States Coast Guard, and is a wonderful way to say “thank you,” for any one who has served to proudly display in their office or home.
This item is 100% Laser cut then assembled by hand from 3 layers of Baltic Birch Plywood. Each layer stacks upon the next to form a 3-Dimensional appearance that has to be seen to be appreciated.
The base layer is the accent layer. It is painted black for contrast. The plaque can be hung with a metal picture hanger.
The middle layer is the main text area. This layer receives a coat of light stain that bring out the wood grain very nicely. The text is completely cut out in a style to show the color of the first layer.
The top and final layer is where the main graphics are displayed.
The plaque is finished off with a gloss clear coat.
